Meet Jeff

I am a Christian man and I married the perfect
Christian woman for me; her name is Leah. Together we are
raising our 7 Christian children (hers, mine, ours), 8 including
my beautiful Akita. We attend East Valley Bible Church in
Gilbert.
I am a Phoenix policeman working for the
Phoenix Police Dept and have been an officer for almost 18 yrs
with 3 different depts. I am a former Marine Gunny
Sergeant as an artilleryman and Scout/Sniper and was a DoS
sniper in Iraq with a total of 4 tours. I also spent a
year overseas as a contractor. I've given the Lord plenty
of opportunities to bring me home but apparently there's more
work here He needs me to do.
I would love to get out more often and run a lot
of the trails I see people doing on other forums but they all
seem to favor Sunday mornings and I'm not willing to make that
sacrifice. Once in a while, ok, but runs on Saturdays, etc are
very much the exception. Scraping money together saving for one
mod at a time on the heep and doing as much of it myself as I
can so I know how to fix it when it breaks.
Get to know him and your life will definitely be
enriched.
Meet the Rig!
 The Jeep
is a 1994 Wrangler YJ with a 4.0L straight 6 and a 5-speed.
I bought the Jeep in '05 from another Marine while aboard Camp
LeJeune for $1500. It only needed a battery, soft top, and
tires and it was on the road after sitting stationary for over a
year in the NC humidity. It has over 190K miles on it without a
single thing being done to the engine. There is no A/C
unless you consider a safari top at 70MPH in AZ as cooling.
It still has the dana30/35 combination and is basically stock
but I have added a few items. Currently it is sporting a
2.5" Rancho spring lift and 33x12.50 Goodyear MTR's mounted on
steel wheels. It has DIY sliders, a front bumper and a gas
tank skid I picked up cheap. I have also done some custom
work with a sawzall on the front and rear fenders.

For the
future I have some ideas that I hope to incorporate which
includes a 14bolt rear that is sitting in the garage and waiting
for a high pinion dana60 front axle to match. The axles
will be set up with spring-over configuration, lockers and deep
gearing. While mounting the springs I will do a shackle
reversal and a rear stretch to accommodate 37" tires.
Added to that will be some real armor, lots of tube and a 4:1
kit for the t-case......yeah, pretty much everything falls into
"Future Modifications".
