Jumping Jack Off-road Trailer

We purchased this unit from Tom's Camperland.  Unfortunately, they are the only dealer in this area for these units as they did make me decent deal but the after service was extremely lacking and their interest in advertising this product was surprisingly lacking.  When picking up the trailer, the tongue hitch was loose and they had a hard time getting themselves together enough to get it right.  They also wanted to "torque" the lug nuts for us as safety is important, however, their "mechanic" or whatever he was, felt using a torque wrench meant that you set the desired number and then put all your weight on the wrench...way past the desired "torque click", if the lug nuts come off it will be a miracle.

Tho we like the trailer, I would suggest a different place to acquire it if you can.

We bought this trailer to use at the 2006 Florence Junction Jamboree.  As it was our first time using it, we expected a few problems but were surprised and happy when all worked as advertised.  Putting the trailer up the first time alone was easier than expected, tho we did...initially...forget the center leg but it reminded us REAL quick.  Sleeping in it was pretty much like any pop-up style trailer and it was incredibly stable and reasonably comfortable.  The first night we had decent winds and rain.  You could hear the rain on the canvas but we had no leaks and the wind had similar if not less effect than it would on a heavy well made tent.  Over all it was a good first night.

This unit is pricey for what it is but considering the room inside, the off road tow ability and the ability to put two large quads on top, there are not many other options that will fit those requirements.  Best of all, its max loaded weight is 3500lbs, same as our Jeep Unlimited.
